Burch Sling surgery using the TriLift device:

Essentially creates a sling band, which is postoperatively autogenously formed into a connective tissue suspensory ligament by the patient’s own tissue. The ligament, created with non-absorbable sutures, lifts the perineal and pelvic muscles upward toward the pelvic brim in order to restore the original anatomical position typical of a pre-gravida patient.

The end results of Burch Sling surgery using the TriLift are:

  1. Increased length of the urethra.
  2. Decreased posterior urethrovesical angle (UVA).
  3. Increased resistance at the urethrovesical junction (UVJ).
